About Licensed Vocational Nursing
Learn the foundational nursing skills you need for employment in acute care facilities, clinics, long-term care facilities, physician offices, home, and health centers.
The LVN Program of the John Adams Center is a full-time, three-semester, 18-month course of instruction which leads to a certificate in vocational nursing and 40.5 units of college credit. The program is accredited by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians. Upon successful completion of the program, you will take a state examination for licensure in vocational nursing.
